WHAT IS IT?
Revision surgery is a secondary procedure performed after a previous cosmetic surgery.
It may be considered when certain concerns remain after the first procedure, when asymmetry or irregularities have developed, or when functional concerns are still present.
Since the area has already been operated on, revision surgery may be more complex than a first-time procedure and requires careful assessment and planning.

Revision Rhinoplasty
Corrects or refines concerns following a previous nose surgery, including shape, symmetry, nasal structure, tip or bridge appearance, and selected functional concerns.

Revision Eyelid Surgery
Addresses concerns following previous eyelid surgery, such as uneven folds, asymmetry, visible scarring or an eyelid crease that may require further refinement.
SHOULD I CONSIDER REVISION SURGERY?
Revision surgery may be considered when a previous procedure has healed but certain concerns remain.
For revision rhinoplasty, these may include an uneven bridge, asymmetry, tip irregularities, structural concerns or selected breathing difficulties.
For revision eyelid surgery, concerns may include uneven eyelid folds, asymmetry, visible scarring, or a crease that does not suit the patient's eye shape.
However, not every concern requires another operation. A consultation is important to determine whether revision surgery is suitable.

Revision surgery begins with a detailed consultation and examination. Your surgeon will assess your previous surgical result, current anatomy, tissue condition and the concerns you would like to address.
Planning the Revision

The previous surgical area normally needs adequate time to heal before another operation is considered. The appropriate timing varies between patients and procedures.
IS REVISION SURGERY MORE COMPLEX?
It can be. Previous surgery may have changed the normal anatomy and created scar tissue, so revision procedures often require additional assessment and planning.
CAN EVERYTHING BE COMPLETELY CORRECTED?
Not every concern can be completely corrected. Your surgeon will explain what can realistically be improved and any limitations that may remain.
WILL THERE BE MORE SCARRING?
